Look at These Vegetarian Numbers, The Enormous Amount of Resources
Non-vegetarians and vegetarians are starting to ask the question of, -is it really doing any good being a vegetarian? If you are thinking about becoming a vegetarian for the ethical reasons, but you are having a hard time making up your mind, then here are some numbers for you to take in.

Importance of Being Vegetarian
Our earth is bursting with people and stress has been put on food resources. It is getting really difficult to maintain the quality of food in this fast changing world. Hence, more and more people are becoming vegetarians as a solution for their health problems.

Vegetarians at the BBQ
Once viewed as an eccentric oddity, vegetarians have moved from the fringe to the mainstream. However, the truth is, all too often the meatless menu option isn’t vegetarian at all…it’s just a menu item, minus the meat. Unfortunately, a white hoagie bun topped with iceberg lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise, and mustard is about as unappealing to the vegetarian as it is to the carnivore counterpart.

Go Vegetarian
Some reasons on why vegetarianism is better.

30 Reasons to Go VEG
Every year, billions of animals (including fish) are killed for food in the United States alone. PETA’s video Chew on This sheds light on animal suffering and highlights many of the other reasons to choose a compassionate, plant-based diet. Vegetarianism not only spares billions of animals from horrific suffering, it also spares your waistline.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, 2006
I probably have lost my sense of making coherent connections out of broken bits of narration because throughout the movie I couldn’t help but wonder - what the hell is really going on here? - Must see to appreciate the magic of special effects and world-class make up transforming a ship full of adults into amazingly freaky aquatic monsters. Also - if you have never seen a Godzilla-size octopus attacking a ship and eating it alive like a pretzel, this is your chance to savor it. Bon appetite!

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean 2
The mangy dog in Pirates of The Caribbean 2 got the biggest laugh today, during the movie’s opening afternoon, and deservedly so. I tried to stay awake, and believe me, I don’t sleep at the movies. People next to me, obviously Johnny Depp fans, laughed at the scenery, providing he was in the frame. Nothing in the dialogue helped him a bit. His mugging, and bizarre sideways strutting were still fun, but he, and Keira Knightely were on camera far too little, and Orlando Bloom, or should I say, Or-Blando Bloom, that improbable love interest, was homely and un-swashbuckling beyond belief. This is the middle part of a trilogy, apparently, and according to a New York Times reviewer, the movie doesn’t really have a beginning or end: it’s all middle. I have to agree. My advice is to take your $11 or $12 and purchase the first installment of Pirates on video, says Dr. Gary S. Goodman, best-selling author of 12 books, over 700 articles, and Fortune 1000 consultant.

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean 2: It’s not a Treasure by Far
I’m not sure how to start this review, the reason being is, I was once told if you got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything, or always say something nice if your going to slam something next. This movie is fragmented, or disjointed throughout its long three-hour worthless scenes.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean opened at Disneyland in 1967 and became an instant classic. But it’s a picture memory from sometime early in 1966, inside a basic warehouse building at WED Enterprises, that still resonates most strongly with me.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
It’s been a while since the last sea adventure featuring the likes of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), his lovely fiancé Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), and the charismatic swashbuckling Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). This time, director Gore Verbinski has given us more of the same, which is good, considering the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie was such a blast.

Are You A Movie Freak? Here is a List of the Top 3 Baseball Movies
Are you among those who love both, baseball and movies? If you do not get time for both, you can watch some baseball movies. Here is a list of the top baseball movies. Let me start with the movie on number 3.

Major League Baseball Tickets: How to Get the Best Seats in the Stadium
There is no better thrill than attending a baseball game in person. Baseball is America’s classic pastime and has been enjoyed for generations and generations. Watching a game of baseball in person gets you closer to the heart and soul of the game than watching it on television. If you have never seen a baseball game in person then you are missing out on the feel of being in a stadium full of fans, hearing the crack of the bat, and enjoying the real outdoors and sunny weather.

Cool Baseball Facts and Trivia to Amuse You!
Baseball is a fabulous game with an even longer history. So in this article I am going to take a trawl through time and pick out ten of the very best cool baseball facts and baseball trivia to keep you amused.

Best Baseball Songs
But it isn’t just summer and baseball that go together; through innings of the past, baseball and song have always gone together as well. Not only does nearly every American know the words to Take Me Out to the Ballgame, but all sorts of other music have been as much a part of the game as a box of cracker jacks. Over the years, several songs have been written directly about baseball or using baseball as a metaphor for life. The following is our list of the best baseball songs, those that belong at the top of the order.

Best Movie Lines Ever!
See the statistics on the greatest movie lines of all time!

Screenplay: Shrek (2001) Deconstructed
The Hero’s Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon.

Movie Review: Shrek
A modern-day fairy tale rife with cutting edge humor, Shrek is a computer-animated film for the ages.

Shrek 1 And 2
There is very little to say about these films that you probably don’t already know. Shrek is that lovable ogre who likes to be scary but rarely is. The films are made by DreamWorks and both of them [Shrek 1 and Shrek 2] can be watched either alone or together.

Shrek: Best Children Tales Character
My small niece is a great fan of Shrek and I was not surprised to see the theme of her second birthday party as Shrek. This character is the most widely used character in most of the children’s tales. Only the name of Shrek excites the kids as he work wonders in the tales for kids since a long time and continuing to do so.

Bring Out the Tree Hugger in You by Becoming Environmentally Responsible
If you’ve ever heard the phrase tree hugger used to describe someone, you may think it is a negative term. Used negatively, the term can be used to describe someone who seems to be too concerned with the environment. Hippies can also be called tree huggers and many people are not starting to associate tree huggers and tree hugging with negative meanings. The opposite is true; tree hugger is actually a positive term for someone who is interested in or participates in environmentalism and conservation. These people are known for doing all they can to protect the environment and encouraging people not to waste our natural resources. If you want to get in touch with your inner tree hugger, take the steps below to improve your own environment and get involved in your community.

Environmentalism
Many of you know that I think that whenever zealously is involved any argument or position is jeopardized, regardless of the kernels of truth on which the initial position was built. The Great Global Warming Scandal is a perfect example of the swing of the proverbial pendulum from the Earth-is-going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket Environmentalist perspective to the more Bush-ian hey-how-could-humans-effect-anything-on-such-a-global-scale.

Surfing History

Surfing History
In the early 1900’s the Hawaiians organized the Hui Nalu (surf club) and competed in neighborly surf competitions with the Outrigger Canoe Club. This drew a great deal of attention to the Waikiki surf shore, bringing a revitalized interest in the sport, which had fallen out of favor in the late 1800s. Duke Kahanamoku, an Olympic star in swimming, popularized the sport further by traveling internationally and showing off his surfing style to thrilled audiences around the world. He was favored by Hollywood elite- having acted in bit parts in films and was always recruiting new surfers wherever he went. He is credited with surfing the longest wave of all time in 1917, in the popular surfing area now called Outside Castles in Waikiki. His 1000 meters plus wave record has yet to be overtaken.

Surfing: Unaffordable Sport?
Though surfing requires little equipment, the surfboard and the wetsuit can be expensive. The leash and the wax are not really that expensive, especially if you use them carefully and thus don’t need to buy extra ones every month. However, affording the purchase of a surfboard and a wetsuit is not for everyone and thus, you’ll need to consider your possibilities if you are planning to start practicing this sport.

Trestles, San Mateo Creek: Most Endangered River
The San Mateo Creek was named as one of America’s Most Endangered Rivers of 2007. At the center of the last remaining pristine coastal watershed in southern California, San Mateo Creek supports world-class surfing and provides irreplaceable habitat for a variety of fish and wildlife. But a proposed 16-mile long toll road threatens to slice through San Mateo Creek causing significant damage to the watershed and to surfing at the famous Trestles Beach, whose reef depends upon the San Mateo for sand and cobbles. Unless the California Coastal Commission and other state and federal agencies deny permits for this toll road, southern California runs the risk of losing one of its best remaining natural and recreational assets. The Top 10 Sports Movies of All Time
There have been thousands of sports movies throughout the years. Some have been absolute crap and most are mediocre at best, but there are that select few that remain deep-seated in our memories. Those movies not only invoke our passion of sports, they manage to cross over and teach us greater life lessons. They teach us the importance of hard work and learning from our mistakes. They teach us that the impossible can come true. That’s what I consider a great sports movie. Well, either that or it has to be really funny.

Movie Review: Casino Royale (2006), Part 1
Daniel Craig as James Bond is good but very different in this latest addition to the long-standing string of Bond movies which depicts a young Bond earning his 00 status.
